Do Not Rely On an Online Hostel Reservation

I thought everything would be unspoiled as soon as I arrive in Austria for a business trip, but I was very frustrated that I had a reservation with Hotel Turnerwirt. It was Saturday morning when I arrived there and I understood everything is settled already because I have preserved online. During the reservation process, I checked the readiness of the rooms for the specific dates that I would be staying there. However, I was shocked to find out that there was no room preserved for me.

Worse, I had a very vital assignation in the evening that's why I needed to fix my things and have at least three to five hours of sleep. It so happened that the person that I would be meeting is a vital business partner of the company, so I must be ready for his probings. Because of my disappointment, I didn't hesitate to ask for the manager of the hostel and asked him about my problem. It's a great thing that the manager was very accepting and he apologized for the inconveniences the hostel had caused me. Finally, after an hour of searching he, found out that there's an unfilled room in the third floor and he tolerated me to use it.

Now, I have learned my lesson not to rely on any online hostel reservation.
