Trip ON A BUDGET

If you are planning a trip to Vienna on a budget, you’d be happy to know that moving around on all areas of the city is a breeze. From the Vienna Airport, transportations
are found in the Westbahnhof and Sudbahnohof railway stations.

You’re out of the airport, you’re set up to go over Vienna, but you need a place to park your gear and spend the night. Here are two excellent hostels that I came across on:

Cruising out of the Westbahnhof train junction, you might stumble into a hostel with a uncommon name: Do Step Inn. Of course, I had to bustle inside and have a sight!

Cruising in (pun intended), a homey
Viennese atmosphere acknowledged me, with the chipped corridor walls and the simplistic, bright, and colorful rooms. This would be excellent; place to stay if I’d intend to see both the Schonbrunn Palace and Stephansdom, as they are only five train stops away in opposite directions. Good!

Again, not far from the Westbahnhof train station is the Westend City Hostel, known to many backpackers. You won’t fail to mark its purple, white, and lime green interior!

Inside, the rooms are usually dorm-type, ranging from 4-12 quarters per room. This would be perfect for summer guests who want to do some sightseeing around Vienna, as it is established close to the shops along Mariahilferstrasse and the other main sights.
