A Perfect Winter Break Within The Splendid Mountains Of Austria

A recent winter journey to Innsbruck, Austria made me consider how perfect the country is for a skiing adventure. Its splendid mountain glaciers make the perfect destination for snow lovers like me. The community is also a prominent site for international winter sports competitions such as the Olympic Winter Games, the 2005 Ice Hockey World Championship, and the Air and Style Snowboard Contest from 1994 to 1999.

After a long but interesting day of skiing and snowboarding, the perfect place to retire and recharge is within the lovely suites of the Schloss hotel, which is just a few kilometers away from the heart of Innsbruck City. This luxurious castle-like establishment has a number of luxurious suites perfect for a king and queen. The lushness of its surrounding landscape make an atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The rooms in this lovely hotel have marvelous views of the snowy mountains, making each night a romantic experience for couples and newlyweds. The Schloss hotel also offers world-class lavish cuisines through its exceptional restaurant. I was also able to try the hotel's sauna, which was a perfect place to rest my exasperated body after a day's journey in the mountains. The Schloss hotel is unquestionably a dream destination enclosed by Innsbruck's winter wonderland.

Swinging to the Tempo of Established Austrian Lifestyle

Architecture and music are two things that depict Austria to the world and it is also these that portray the Austrian lifestyle. The country seats a number of renaissance architecture such as castles, royalty residences, and theaters; and it is also home to the musical savants Mozart and Strauss. Living in this backdrop affords Austrians with a laid-back context for revelling life and a ardent atmosphere for relationships.
Austrians are very cordial so cafes and pubs are mostly crammed, especially during the afternoon and night. Austrians are also welcoming to family, friends and guests alike, so you really feel unperturbed in their Company when they go out of their way just to make you feel that you belong. In addition, Austrians also revel in celebrations, and one such event that you should not miss is the chocolate festival so you can indulge in the
lip-smacking chocolate and milk chocolate bars, baked products, and drinks. Take advantage of this circumstance to fill your chocolate cravings.

However, despite the regular lifestyle of Austria, its people are very compliant to different cultures, especially in sharing the reverie towards the enjoyment of music and life. Classical music and architecture have been balanced with current music and design genres to upgrade the classy Austrian way of life.

A Comely and Enchanting Vertical Drop

I never thought that my first expedition to Austria would be the last time I would be startled with Niagra Falls and all its majesty. Not that I do not love the said waterfalls anymore; it is just that I have already witnessed its equal, and at some points, the newfound rival appears to be more startling.

It is the enchanting Krimml waterfalls that is reigning supreme in my list of the newest favorite areas. Its captivating appearance in daytime slightly transforms into a shining water drop as the sun fully sets. Even more enormous than Niagra, Krimmls vertical drop extends promptly to the Krimml river, which spans 19 kilometers. This river materialized from the ice formation of the ancient epochs and the waters are currently flowing via the alpine fields until they reach Schettbrucke.

Placed at the National Park Hohe Tauern, Krimml waterfalls is surrounded by a big abundance of endangered creatures. Adding to the splendid panorama of the waterfalls are the high mountain peaks, which are even witnessed from Hohe Tauern.

Had I not been to the Krimml waterfalls, the sound waters brushing with a group of huge rocks, the blossoming flora behind, the cold mist all over, and the vast azure skies all make up a magical view that I never would have seen.

Tempting and Yummy Crepes

I like eating crepes especially after dinner with its mouthwatering pancake and yummy fillings -- it’s a perfect dessert for any sweet tooth or fruit lovers. Crepes come in numerous forms and fillings -- it may be folded or rolled and overflowing with various ingredients including meat, ham, cheese, eggs, chocolates, ice cream, bananas, nuts, and whipped cream to name a few. As such, this tasty food can be eaten as a nourishing meal or as a sweet dessert. Being a crepe-addict, I'm always on the lookout for new and numerous sorts of crepes. As I was walking in the mall, I located a little restaurant that sells numerous kinds of crepes.

As I entered the resto, I immediately looked at the list of the crepes being cooked and I spotted the palatschinken -- one of my most wanted crepes. The palatschinken is an Austrian delicacy that is rolled and overflowing with tasty apricot jam and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar. Other versions of the crepe may include numerous sorts of fruit jams, nuts, fresh fruits, or chocolate sauce. Palatschinken can be eaten unsweetened or overflowing with rich meat, vegetables, or cheese.

Austria's musical heritage motivates people to visit its sites and experience first-hand, the riveting music of the renowned geniuses Back and Strauss. However, there is more to discover with the classy architecture of buildings in Vienna and large estates in the countryside.
