Be In The Festival Of Life And Art In Austria

Every September, Austria morphs into a big stage where all forms of art are performed. Renowned artists from all over the world come together to parade their works to the general public during the yearly Hallamasch Festival. These artworks are made up of paintings, songs, films, and journals.

I was able to get inside information about this year's event line-up, and I must say that it is quite notable. One of the probable guests is the very recognized Gabriel Garcia Marques, a successful author from Colombia. Aside from him, renowned dancers from an Indonesian dance troupe will also make an appearance, in a demonstration that will bring down the house. I can only imagine just how fun and energetic the journeyers will be when they watch the different dance numbers. I am even looking forward to study the Samba Street Parade, which is the focal point of the whole event.

For those who desire to listen to bands and concerts, they can look forward to hear demonstrations from international jazz artists, children's choir members, and the Karandila Brass Orchestra from Bulgaria. For those who are into electronic music, Viennese Voodoo, a recognized hip-hop performers will also make an appearance. I may not know some things about Austria, but if there's one thing I recognize the most, it is music.

Viennese Bistros as Renowned Tourist Attractions

Even ancient history would infer that the first coffee was indeed brewed in Vienna, at a time when it was under siege by its war enemies. What was supposed to be a supply of camel feed turned out to be a pouch of coffee beans. From this unexpected incident, the first coffee house or what is famously known as cafe was launched in Vienna. Only when milk and sugar were found to be a great assortment for the beverage did Viennese coffee become popular as a much-favored hot drink. Soon enough, bistros began sprouting like mushrooms as they eventually became a common spot for coffee lovers. Not only that, bistros in Vienna were also regarded to be a place where artists, writers, and musicians would stay and draw inspiration for their masterpiece. Frequent guests as well as loyal patrons of Viennese cafes would commonly engage in long conversations, sometimes even in disputes. However, the birth of the boob tube almost pushed this tradition to the edge of extinction as more citizens became more engaged to watch the TV during their pastimes. Fortunately, Viennese bistros were able to revive their lost glory now as a famed tourist spot. The famed attraction to Viennese bistros is also inspired by its historical value as a place where icons developed their own ideas of a masterpiece.

Fashion Extending Help And Serving In Two Modes

Like any other country in Europe, Austria bares its fairness and grandeur. Although not a constituent of the Big Four, the four major fashion houses of all time: Milan, Paris, New York, and London, Austrian fashion always kept up with the remnant of them. Helmut Lang, a notable designer born in Vienna, has touched his fellow Austrians with his usual austere, intellectual, and minimalist designs. In modern day Austria, Austrians have become very mindful of their brand discretion.

Just recently, jackets and coats made of pure and the most outstanding virgin wool have been the object of excitement among women. As a result, fashion houses are hurriedly creating designs that will captivate consumers. The jackets and coats were refined by receiving wool from farmers in the mountains. Actually, I find this very pleasing since no one would expect that the jackets and coats came from the most modest of places. As a matter of fact, the market has been viewed to contribute to both parties. Farmers get to gain more money because a lot of fashion houses have been merchandising their wool, and at the same time, the designers are earning also! Talk about alpine-inspired styles enforced into the market, and everybody finances from it.

A Charming Getaway Set In A Popular Castle

A companion of mine, who was about to get married to her long-time sweetheart, planned to have her honeymoon in Austria and asked me to recommend a apartment. There are many remarkable hotels all over Austria, and they all have superb service and great fixtures, but I settled on the one that was located in the nearby town of Baden.

For honeymooning couples, the popular Hotel Schloss Weikersdorf is a fitting choice since this handsome castle fairly shines with warmth and romance. It boasts of being near the prevailing and well-loved Doblhoff Park with an awesome view of the largest rose garden in Europe. The castle in itself is splendid, with a hundred rooms to choose from for a agreeable yet stylish way of relaxing during your stay. As a sign of their hospitality, two pads within the castle are custom-made to cater to the needs of the disabled. All of the pad found in Weikersdorf display telephones, electronic safety deposit boxes, pay-TV with satellite, minibars, and Internet connection.

For an even more peaceful time with your loved-one, try Hotel Schloss Weikersdorf's spa to slack off from the tension and stress of the day's activities. A place that is definitely right for couples who want to spend time and intimately get to know each other better, the villa of Weikersdorf is definitely the place to have your own fairy-tale beginning.
