Trip ON A BUDGET

If you are planning a trip to Vienna on a budget, you’d be happy to know that moving around on all areas of the city is a breeze. From the Vienna Airport, transportations
are found in the Westbahnhof and Sudbahnohof railway stations.

You’re out of the airport, you’re set up to go over Vienna, but you need a place to park your gear and spend the night. Here are two excellent hostels that I came across on:

Cruising out of the Westbahnhof train junction, you might stumble into a hostel with a uncommon name: Do Step Inn. Of course, I had to bustle inside and have a sight!

Cruising in (pun intended), a homey
Viennese atmosphere acknowledged me, with the chipped corridor walls and the simplistic, bright, and colorful rooms. This would be excellent; place to stay if I’d intend to see both the Schonbrunn Palace and Stephansdom, as they are only five train stops away in opposite directions. Good!

Again, not far from the Westbahnhof train station is the Westend City Hostel, known to many backpackers. You won’t fail to mark its purple, white, and lime green interior!

Inside, the rooms are usually dorm-type, ranging from 4-12 quarters per room. This would be perfect for summer guests who want to do some sightseeing around Vienna, as it is established close to the shops along Mariahilferstrasse and the other main sights.

The Checklist For the Austrian Vacationist

Willkommen nach OSTERREICH! If you accustomed with German, you would know that you have just been attended to Austria.

Austria, or Osterreich, which is the German notion for the country, was once a portion of the Holy Roman Empire--Osterreich is actually German for “East Empire”. But before we get into the nitty gritty of Austrian history, I guess we got to go over the bare essentials of visiting the country. My

Austria travel checklist:
Euros. As with largest areas of Europe, the kind of payment in Austria is the Euro.

International Credit or Debit Cards. I find it safer to tour with these, instead of hauling an actual bank notes. In Austria, dough can be withdrawn 24 hours at some 3,000 cash dispensers situated in the country. These cash machines admit interstate and foreign Maestro cards, MasterCards, American Express cards, Visa credit cards, Diners cards, and Cirrus cash cards.

German Phrase Book. 98% of Austrians communicate in German.

Mozart CDs. Vienna, the foremost city of Austria, is known as Europe’s musical ground. The state is actually the birthcountry of Amadeus Mozart. What better way to get into Austrian culture than to stroll around [about|around|all-around|on all places|on various sites] accompanied with Mozart classics?

Weather Gear. Many areas in the state has a moderate Central European climate, so it will be a good idea to stock up on some jackets and sweaters.

With these at hand, I’m sure you’ll find your cruise in Austria an enjoyable adventure. WIllkommen!

Cherished Bar Hopping in an Austrian Retreat

That Trip I had in Austria two months ago was really amazing and cherished. I had so much pleasure together with my buddies in touring the city of Innsbruck. Innsbruck is such a perfect site to relax and have fun, especially during at nighttime. This site has a lot of bars, where you can unwind with your buddies, drink a couple of shots, and meet new people from other places who are also relaxing.

During our first night in Innsbruck, my buddies invited me to go bar-hopping but I did not go with them because I was genuinely tired. I was so drained because of the flight that's why I stressed that I would join them next time. It was Saturday night when we all went to this bar known as Innkeller, one of the renowned bars in Innsbruck which is built in Innstrasse. As we entered the bar, I straightaway noted that there were a lot of people inside already who were drinking and having fun. But as one of the waiters stressed to us, we did not have to worry because people here were all sociable and they were all here just to have plain fun.

My buddies and I also drunk some beers and discussed about ourselves, except for our jobs. Sometimes, it's wonderful not to discuss about your work to ease pressure and to really enjoy the moment.

World's Most Immense Ice Caves Viewed in Austria

It was just yesterday when I grasped that Austria has the world's most immense ice caves? I unquestionably could not believe it at first because I perceived there's no such thing as ice caves---well, pardon for my ignorance.

According to what I have researched in the Internet, this renowned cave is considered as Eisriesenwelt Caves. Eisriesenwelt is a German idiom, which connotes "world of the ice giants." This renowned visitor destination is situated in Werfern, which is situated 40 kilometers away Salzburg's south. This renowned cave, which has an estimated 200,000 visitors annually is sighted inside Hochkogel mountain in the Tennengebirge portion of the mountainous Alps. This renowned attraction Werfern can be attributed to Anton Posselt who uncovered it in 1879.

Anyone who tours this renowned visitor attraction will be given with a lamp that will serve as guide inside. Eisriesenwelt Caves has many kinds of formation inside so the visitors must be extra careful when touring. These many formations include immense towers and columns, glaciers, and waterfalls. Visitor should wear thick outfits because it is unquestionably cold inside the cave. So, if you're going to visit this renowned visitor attraction, get ready to experience the best that Eisriesenwelt Caves can offer to you.
